Week 7: 18th May 2020

Shay has been giving baking a go this week (don't they look delicious!). He was busy building planes with his Lego and going on lovely sunny walks with his family.

Ted drew a wonderful picture of Florence Nightingale...

Owen had a go at growing his own rainbow...

Melissa dressed up as Florence Nightingale and then sketched a picture of herself. I think you make a great Florence! She wrote a fantastic poem too. And then Melissa and her sister brushed up on their sewing skills to make some face masks.

Kashvini enjoyed our History learning this week, making great comparisons between hospitals. She even thought about how having electricity helps hospitals now. Then Kashvini (and her mum) wrote some wonderful acrostic poems from her new learning...

Here is Filip enjoying the tasks around VE Day. He really enjoyed learning about it and was inspired to make his own ships and planes from Lego

Elissa was feeling creative and drew this lovely picture which she names 'The Concert'

Clara also had lots of fun celebrating VE Day. She worked with her sister to make bunting to decorate their house and made a Spitfire model too. Just look at how busy their house is with all the work and learning going on...

Ava Grace worked hard on her acrostic poem this week and had a go at the challenges in Maths too. She has been out and about enjoying the weather and fresh air. Then she sent me a photo of her view that she has when she is doing her home learning. Isn't she lucky!

Ava also enjoyed learning about Florence Nightingale this week. She wrote a fab acrostic poem too. And then helped to bake some scones for her Grandad's zoom birthday party!

This week's learning...
