Bushey and Oxhey Infant School

Educating Today's Child for Tomorrow!

Proud to be part of Bushey Primary Education Federation Federation Headteacher: Mrs M Cooper MA NPQH

Week 14: 10th December 2018

Christmas celebrations are in full swing and Nativity rehearsals are taking place daily. The children have enjoyed their time in the hall and are working hard practising their lines, learning the songs and the dance moves. Friday was the big day, our first performance to KS1 children. After a busy first session where some of the children needing to change parts or have an extra line due to illness, they did amazingly well and made all the Reception staff and Mrs Cooper very proud. You are in for a real treat next week. The performances are on Tuesday at 2:15 and Wednesday at 9:15. We hope you can make it.

This week we visited Bushey and Oxhey Methodist Church to listen to the Christmas story. The children walked to the Church brilliantly and listened really well while we were there. Their favourite part, the juice and biscuits of course!

The children are definitely getting tired as we near the end of the first term and what a term its been. From new Infant school children in September to performers at the end of the term. WOW!

Next week is a busy week but should be an enjoyable one, so be prepared for exciting and tired children coming home!

Have a lovely weekend
