This week we have been getting ready for our Spring assemblies and getting in to the Spring/Easter mood.
We went on a walk with Mrs Impey to spot signs of Spring. Then we came back to class and wrote Easter poems using our senses. They were all fantastic but Mrs Impey was wowed by Aman and Ava Rose and so she chose them to read their poems out in the assemblies. You read them beautifully and clearly in front of such a large crowd - well done both of you!
We made Easter bonnets too. Don't forget we have an Easter bonnet parade in school next week so your child can always wear it back to school on Friday to show it off to everybody - but feel free to make a new one if you wish!
We have been looking at habitats in Science and thinking about why we have different habitats and why animals need to live in different habitats. The children came up with some very interesting ideas!
I hope you have a lovely weekend and wish you a very happy Mother's Day for Sunday.
Next week's learning..
