This year for Walk to School week, our challenge is to walk Buster (the crocodile) around the map of Hertfordshire (please see below). Each journey you complete to and from school by walking, scooting or cycling equals 'one step' on Buster's journey (10 steps/circles on the map).
This Thursday (8th October) is Clean Air Day, a chance to enjoy the outside and be more aware of the things that affect our clean air. What can we do to help? Please walk, cycle or use your scooter to travel to school instead of the car or bus (if you can). If you need to use the car, could you park and stride and please make sure the engine is switched off as soon as possible!
We hope you enjoy this week, there will be class assemblies sharing how we travel to school, compared with other countries and learning how we can help with Clean Air Day!
