Bushey and Oxhey Infant School

Educating Today's Child for Tomorrow!

Proud to be part of Bushey Primary Education Federation Federation Headteacher: Mrs M Cooper MA

Week 12: 1st April 2019

As the last day of the holidays approach I am informed that the blog entry from the last day of term was not saved before I left school. Sorry about that and therefore I have recreated it here for you.

On Monday one of our Federation Governors came to visit the children. When not working hard for our school Mr Noble works for the Metropolitan Police. He gave a brilliant talk all about the work he does and showed some of the equipment he uses. The children asked some brilliant questions using the sentence starters, Who? What? Where? When? and How?. They asked some interesting questions and I definitely learnt something new.

The rest of the week was spent based around Easter. The children made Easter baskets and a special Easter cake to take home on Friday. On Friday we had our annual Easter bonnet parade. The children all looked fantastic and had worked hard making their bonnets to bring in.

The first day back is tomorrow. Some of you have already sent some photos in of what you have been up to but if any of you do check this before tomorrow please send in a photo from the holiday and pass this on to any other parents. The children love sharing what they have done but they do have a tendency to forget so the photos do help remind them. The email address is parrot@busheyfederation.org.uk

I hope you had a lovely Easter break and I shall see you all tomorrow morning! Don’t forget to reset those alarms.
