Lions have had a busy penultimate week of term.
This week we have looked at the eight planets that make up our Solar System. We started by finding out about each one and labelling them in the correct order. We also enjoyed conducting our own research into each planet and found out some fascinating facts! We then used our imaginations to design our own planet and made it as unique and special as we could. We used these designs to write descriptions of our planets using adjectives, similes and different sentence starters.
On Monday, Mrs Lowden came from Bushey Manor to teach us. We had a lovely time showing her our fantastic maths skills and we practised adding three different numbers together. We followed this up on Thursday, where we went to Bushey Manor for the morning to spend time in our new classroom. We found out all about what school would be like in September and all had excited happy faces on our return!
Finally this week, we made another trip to Bushey Manor. This time we went to watch the Year 6 children perform their end of year production ‘Olivia’. It was fantastic and we had a wonderful time listening to the songs and watching them perform. Well done to all involved!
