We thoroughly enjoyed our Spring Assemblies this week, I don't think we will ever forget our song "Happy Sun High" or the actions for the sunflower, daisy and rose!
We made Easter cards and thought very hard about the inserts and hope you will enjoy receiving them. The children also made the Easter nests that were filled with Easter treats that Mrs Sherwood and I hope they enjoyed!
On Wednesday we had a special science lesson where we enjoyed 3 main activities: using magnets to find metal objects, using and understanding the uniqueness of finger prints and experimenting with coloured dye.
On Friday we had our class celebration. The children chose to have a fancy dress and ice lolly party. On Friday afternoon we sat outside in the sunshine to have our ice lollies. Some of the children are already thinking about what our next class celebration could be!
Next term we will be moving on to the topic 'Under the Sea'. Our BR Class Assembly on Monday 8th May will be showing our work so far on the topic. We are very excited about our outside area and we are looking forward to filling it with plants to look after.
We hope you have a lovely Easter.
